“Holy crab, I’m in Brazil”

So I woke up this morning wondering where I am. No, I wasn’t drunk or hung-over. It’s been seven weeks here now, and I both feel at home and wonder why I did this. I don’t have any regrets, but sometimes I wonder how many loose screws I have, jumping head-first into a Masters in a language I don’t (fully) comprehend!

Parteeeeyyyy in Viçosa

Last night, I was invited to a party with my friends. That got a little later than planned… “a little” later, that is! Had a great time, even though the music was terrible and my first Caipirinha apparently wasn’t that good! This was one of those parties thrown by the next-year graduates (undergrads). Country #34 and counting

Hello world! Said nobody ever. I see that I’m not your best blogger, leaving too many gaps between blog updates. Anyhow, I wanted to write something about this 34th country of mine and how it compares to my other experiences. And just to break paragraphs here and there, I will be pointing out some (funny) things I have observed, learned or come to the realisation about.
